Strips of teak in a variety of thicknesses from 1.5 to 2.5mm are selected for their colour and absence of defects and then assembled in layers. Fused together, using the latest Akzo Nobel system, a plank is created that has a consistency of colour, grain and strength that is hard to achieve reliably with conventional solid wood.
